My great-great-great grandfather fought in the Revolutionary War and was given a land grant for his service in George Washington’s army.  Later another ancestor, Francis Scott Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner during the War of 1812.  Remove one or two “greats” from the grandfather above and you have one who fought in the Civil War.

I may not be a military veteran, but I am from a long, long line of patriots and hope to continue the tradition in my own way.  It has been said.”the pen is mightier than the sword.”  Let’s hope so.  My goal is to try in my own way to awaken the sleeping giant that is the American People to stand up for their liberties and rights, while they still have them.  My hope is to stir their ability to think for themselves, realize the difference between what is right and what is wrong with this country and that they have the power and ability to make it what it should continue to be, forever and ever, amen.
